Three kinds of backing
GoSports Foundation is funded through a mix of corporate CSR partnerships, philanthropic and foundation giving, and government/federation collaboration — each tied to specific, measurable programmes rather than general operating costs.

Funds Gear for Gold, strengthening 8 athlete-centric academies across 15 states with sports science, infrastructure, and coach development.

Fund the system, not just a season
Most of our funding is tied to a named programme — which is exactly what donors should expect. But every programme depends on capacity that no single programme budget covers. Unrestricted gifts to our operating fund go toward:
Research and the SAPA Stack Framework — the studies and toolkits every programme is built on.
Cross-academy technology and performance-tracking systems shared across programmes.
National convenings and practitioner capacity-building across the sector.
The staff and monitoring & evaluation systems that make every impact number on this site real.
This is a new giving category we'd recommend introducing alongside named-programme funding — not one GoSports currently runs. If adopted, it's worth defining a threshold (a founding-partner tier, for instance) the way many peer foundations do.
